We thought about calling this Show Don't Tell Bootcamp, but we're not really interested in feeding into the military complex, thus the term INTENSIVE bloomed into being, and INTENSE it will be. This will solely be one hour and fifteen minutes of your writing life devoted entirely to practicing the art of showing via a list of continuous prompting that will force you to "privilege the reader's experience" (a phrase borrowed from the brilliant novelist Steven Dunn, and one Sarah Elizabeth Schantz uses frequently with her students). This online workshop intensive will likely be a recurring one and will be capped at twelve writers per session, useful for prose writers and poets alike as well as the novice or the seasoned.
