(W)rites of Passage is thrilled to welcome Steven Dunn to our brand new Guest Author Workshop Series.

The Movements [through Rap Lyrics]:

We’ll be learning world-building and setting, but through movement and space in rap lyrics. Movement because it gives a sense of three-dimensional space. Rap because it builds three-dimensional worlds in small spaces, and because rappers are usually rapping out of layers of marginalized identities, so there’s a sense of urgency/necessity to build their worlds.

The workshop will be online Sunday, Jan. 31st 2021 from 12:00-3:00 p.m. Mountain Time thru Zoom (you may be given homework to study beforehand).

Space is limited to 15 participants.

$150.00 due upon registration
