This setting-based craft seminar/studio class is designed for prose writers, both CNF and fiction, but poets are welcome to join. Participating writers will be given a packet to read prior to gathering that will include the short story for which the class is named as well as some craft essays. Registration closes Thursday, November 6th at midnight. The class is capped at 20 participants. We will discuss the readings as a group and practice the mechanics and techniques presented via the writing prompts and exercises then provided by the instructor with time for sharing and the learning that comes from doing so.
